Adjust:
Opacity: 30–70%
Distance: Small for soft shadows, larger for directional light
Spread: 0–10%
Size: 10–60px for softness
Angle: Match your light source (usually 120°)

Method 2: Brush + Blur
Create a new layer below the object.
Use a soft round brush, low opacity (10–20%), in black or dark gray.
Paint gently beneath the object’s base.
Use Filter > Blur > Gaussian Blur to soften the edges.
Lower the layer opacity to 30–60% for realism.
Duplicate the object layer.
Flip it vertically (Edit > Transform > Flip Vertical).
Position it below the original as if on a mirror surface.
Add a layer mask and use a black-to-white gradient to fade out the reflection.
Lower opacity to 20–40%.
Save in PNG (with transparency) or JPEG with a white background.
Make sure shadows don’t look like floating halos or are too dark.
